THEMATIC COLLECTIONS
Each collection connects places through one historical theme—an era, a movement, a conflict, or a life. Chapters give the journey shape; the map gives it geography.

Move between a collection’s chapters and map. Open a place preview with historical context, expand the nearby list, and adjust its search radius.

Foreground location is optional. Directions are not offered for places in Iran or in Ukraine’s Crimea and Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions; their stories and past visits remain available.

STORY × EVIDENCE
Histrail explains why a place matters, separates surviving evidence from later memory or reconstruction, and keeps its sources traceable.
VISIT × COLLECT × COMPLETE
Mark a place as visited, choose the date, add a note, and attach a personal photo if you want. You can edit or delete the record later; past trips count too. Every required place you visit moves the collection forward.
A collection completes when every required place has been visited. A photo is optional.
